General information, not advice

Nothing on this site is professional advice for your particular building, slab or circumstances. Every floor is different. Subfloor condition, moisture levels, building construction and the product you choose all change what is appropriate. Please get advice for your own situation before making a decision.

Prices and cost guides

Any figures, ranges or per-square-metre costs published on this site — including in our blog articles — are indicative ranges current at the time of writing. They are not quotes and they are not an offer. Actual cost depends on the product, the area, access, how much preparation the subfloor needs and what has to be removed first. The only reliable number is a written quote following a free on-site measure.

Timeframes

Durations given for strip-out, preparation, curing and installation are typical ranges. Weather, slab moisture and site access can all extend them.

Where we reference manufacturers, standards or industry bodies, we do so in good faith. We do not control that material and are not responsible for its accuracy or for any changes made to it after we publish.

Photographs

Project photographs show work completed by our crew. Timber is a natural material and colour, grain and finish vary between batches, so an installed floor will not be identical to a photograph. We bring physical samples to every measure for this reason.
